We have more in common than sets us apart"

While we are all unique in many ways, we share so many similarities too. When our lives aren’t going the way we think they should, it can be difficult to navigate change.

Our personal history leaves an imprint for our current behaviours. Feelings, emotions and thoughts can become tangled and knotted.

Often, it’s a case of allowing ourselves the time and space to be heard, to ‘empty’ our head and feel those feelings in a safe place – without fear of judgment or criticism.

Whether you’re feeling everything or feeling nothing, or somewhere in between, let’s see how we can work together to explore what’s going on for you.

My name is Samantha Alty and, as a qualified therapist, I offer person-centred counselling for individual adults in a calm and compassionate manner.

I have a private, dedicated counselling room where we can, if you choose, work creatively with all kinds of materials – no skills necessary. There are so many different ways to express ourselves and it’s surprising how seemingly unrelated objects can bring meaningful, hidden thoughts to the surface.

Based in Lytham St Annes on the Fylde coast, I offer weekly or fortnightly sessions, or single session therapy, with a choice of face to face, online or telephone contact. Sessions can be booked singularly or in blocks and are charged on a sliding scale of £30-£45. Once you make contact, we can arrange an informal, pre-counselling chat to help you decide if it’s the right fit, place and time. There is currently no waiting list - sessions can start usually within a week or two of our pre-counselling call.
